Looks like more infrastructure problems for Fort Mac this time Oil City can’t even host the Oil Trade Show, from Fort McMurray today:

The Oil Sands Trade Show isn’t coming back to Fort McMurray for the time being, the event’s organizers said Wednesday.
What used to be the city’s biggest industrial convention moved to Edmonton this year due to Fort McMurray’s limited infrastructure for hosting the show.
Wes Scott, director of the two-day event, said attendance in Edmonton this year will reach roughly 8,000 people, more than double the 3,500 figure that Fort McMurray struggled to handle last year.
“Because we’ve been able to double in size, the plan right now is to keep the shows in Edmonton,” Scott said.
